A loan helped to buy calves to increase her income from livestock raising.

Erkin's story

Erkin has successfully paid off her loan. She is grateful to Kiva and to all those who helped her with financing. Erkin's farm now has 14 cows, 60 sheep and 6 horses.
In order to further develop her farm, Erkin has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 250,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of calves to increase her revenue from livestock raising. She plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm, and to use part to provide a good future for her children.

Translated from Russian by Kiva volunteer Steven McGrath.

This loan is special because:

The borrower receives a lower interest rate to fund their agriculture activities.
