A loan helped a member to buy a variety of clothing for sale.

La Lomita Group's story

The group called "La Lomita" is in their 8th cycle of the women's committee programme, where they all work and help each other to move forward. The members of the committee set their main objective as the growth of each one of them and being able to help their families.

One of the women is Mariela who, through her effort and continuous work, and through selling clothes, helps sustain her household. She aims to help her family and give them a better quality of life. She says that facing the crisis which is affecting the world due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, has prevented her from being able to work normally and generate the means to be able to help her family. This has brought consequences to her business, which is why she is looking for the way to be able to raise it up.

She asked for this loan to be able to invest in the purchase of a variety of clothing to be able to stock up her business and, in this way, she can continue with her work as she has been doing.
