Las Flores De Verapaz Group's story

Alejandra is 59 years old, single, mother of 7 children, and a businesswoman. She decided to start her own business at her house, and so she established a small grocery store. She currently has a well-capitalized business with a loyal clientele.

She is requesting a loan from Fundenuse along with Kiva to invest in working capital and in this way acquire products such as rice, beans, sugar, oils and soap for her business. Her main interest is to offer more products and thus increase her incomes.

One of her future goals is to build a shop separate from her house, and in the short run she wants to finish building an annex of the house.

She is part of the group “Las flores de Verapaz” (“The flowers of Verapaz”), along with Karla, María and Uriel.

In this group: Alejandra, Karla, Uriel, Benicia, María
