Zesar's story

Zesar is married and from Cochabamba. He was born on July 30th of 1978 in Cochabamba. He has a land parcel in San Luis on the riverbank. He plants potatoes and peppers and takes them personally to sell in Sucre. Spicy peppers is a very popular product in Sucre for food preparation. It is used in most of the traditional dishes, such as picante mixto, salteñas, mondongo and fritanga. He has been working with Emprender for three years and he is a good client. He makes his payments on time, because he is one of three brothers and they all help each other so as not to fall behind. All three brothers work in agriculture. Zesar is married and has three small children. He is very hardworking and he is always thinking of what products to plant according to the planting season. With the money from the loan, he will buy seeds to plant potatoes. This product is in high demand in the city of Santa Cruz where he lives. He is very grateful to Emprender and Kiva for the trust they have put in him with this loan.
