He Muong 14 Group's story

Tho, 34, is an ethnic Thai lady who lives with her husband, her two children, and two nieces. Her daughter is studying in fifth grade while her 6-year-old son is less fortunate and has a disability. In the picture, she stands at the far right.

Her family mainly relies on agricultural production for a living. Because of the instability of their income from agriculture, Tho and her husband work very hard at many additional activities, including cultivating rice and corn and raising chickens, ducks, and cows. Recently, Tho has requested her tenth loan from the Anh Chi Em Program in order to have enough money to hire an excavator machine to level the land to grow more corn.

Tho hopes that with this support from the program, this investment will be successful so she will have more land for corn planting and that she will get a good income from this corn plantation. Tho dreams about bright futures and an abundant life for her children and her nieces.
