A loan helped a member to refinance debt and buy hairdressing supplies.

Kuña Kyrey Group's story

The group, named Kuña Kryey, meaning "lively women" was started by friends and neighbors from the city of Carapegua joining together. They decided to help each other in order to be able to give their families a better quality of life.

Nancy is one of the group members. She has a hair salon in her house. She says that she has a modest salon set up in her house, and that with a lot of effort she was able to do it, and today she has an established customer base.

She says that her work has enabled her to be able to cover her loved ones' needs, so they don't have to go without any of the necessities like she did.

She says that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, her service was affected, and she hasn't been able to make an income to be able to meet all her obligations. This is why she wants to invest in her business to be able to give it another boost.

She is seeking this loan to be able to refinance her debt and buy hairdressing supplies to be able to keep providing her service and thus help her family.
