San Agustin Group's story

The San Agustin group is in its fourth cycle. It is made up of women who work and sacrifice for a better and improved quality of life. They all help each other and are searching for a way to better themselves in order to give their families a better future.

One of the members is Maria, who has a general store in her home. She began with very little, and with sacrifice it has been growing and improving until it is the business that she has today.

She says that her sales were going well, but that in the last months she has had very few sales due to the world Covid-19 pandemic and the total quarantine that was ordered. Thus, she could not generate the income that she needs in order to cover her necessities and those of her family, besides being able to fulfill the Fundacion loan payments.

It is for this reason that Maria is requesting this loan, to be able to refinance her debt, and also to be able to buy products to stock her general store with assorted items, as a way of injecting some capital into her business.
