A loan helped a member to buy products in order to be able to stock her store and continue with her sales.

La Esperanza Group's story

The name of the group is ”La Esperanza" and consists of a group of friends and neighbors from Luque city who seek a way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their 29th cycle of the women's committee program, where everyone strives to be able to grow and be successful.

Celina is one of the members. She works in sales, and states that she has a modest store where she works every day from early in the morning. She states that through the income she has been able to help support her household and cover the necessities of her loved ones. She states that the crisis that is impacting the world because of the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted her ability to work with normalcy and generate the means to be able to help her family, and this has had consequences in her business.

She asks for this loan in order to be able to invest in her business and buy more products in order to be able to continue with her sales. She is happy for the opportunity to be able to be successful and thus continue helping her family.
