A loan helped a member to buy supplies for her salon.

La Esperanza Group's story

The La Esperanza group is comprised of friends and neighbors from Asunción who seek ways to be able to improve their quality of life, as well as that of their loved ones. They set a goal of being able to grow, not just financially, but also as people.

Among them, it is worth mentioning Eugenia, who makes a living with her hair salon. She mentions that her work has allowed her to be able to support her home and offer her loved ones a better quality of life than she could have. She says that, with much sacrifice, she has managed to get ahead in life and puts everything she has into it so her loved ones don't lack anything.

Eugenia mentions that the crisis that has crossed the world through the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented her from working normally and generating the income that enables her to help her family. This has resulted in consequences to her business.

She wants to invest in her hair salon, as this will enable her to lift herself back up. With this, she will be able to continue helping her loved ones so they don't lack anything. She is requesting this loan to buy supplies to invest in her work. With this, she can continue with her venture and keep it progressing.
