A loan of $8,525 helps a member to refinance debt and invest in cooking supplies.

Virgen Del Rosario Group's story

The Virgen del Rosario group is comprised of neighbors from the Caacupé area. They are seeking to improve their quality of life and that of their families. They are in their 13th cycle of the women's committee.

Rafaela is a member of the group. She is a dressmaker. She says that due to the COVID-19 crisis, her sales are down because her work focuses on making uniforms for teachers and students. However, she still has some work and started selling homemade bread every day from her home. She is a person who looks for ways to succeed and with this, give her family the best.

She is requesting a loan to refinance debt and to buy necessary supplies to keep baking and continue her work. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to be able to help her family through her work.
