A loan helped a member to purchase a variety of garments to sell.

Virgen De Fatima Group's story

The group named VIRGEN DE FATIMA was formed through the union of friends and neighbors from the city of Asunción who are searching for the way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their cycle 17 in the women’s committee program, where all have set as a goal to improve themselves, not only economically, but also as people.

One of them is Yenny, who makes a living from selling clothing. She mentions that her business has helped her to give her family a decent quality of life and that they don’t pass through any type of need.

She mentions that in the face of the crisis that the world is going through due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has prevented her from working normally and generating the means to help her family, this has brought consequences to her business. She comments that she needs to invest a little more capital in her work to be able to build it up again and fulfill her obligations to the Fundación that she was not able to fulfill during the months of quarantine in which she could not work normally, and thus rise up again.

She is requesting this loan to purchase garments to stock her business and fulfill her customers’ demands, and at the same time inject a bit of capital into her business.
