A loan helped a member to buy fruit to stock up her business and refinance debt.

San Miguel Group's story

The group San Miguel was formed with the union of friends and neighbors of the city of Caaguazu. They search for a way to be able to improve their quality of life and the life of their loved ones. It's a relatively new committee with the desire to improve. Carmen is one of the members of the group, she is an entrepreneurial person that works selling fruits and indicates her job has allowed her to generate the means for her family to cover their needs and not struggle. She indicates that facing the current crisis the world is going through due to the Covid-19 pandemic, has impeded their ability to work normally and generate the means to help their families and this has resulted in consequences to their business.
She requests the loan to buy fruit to stock up her business and get it going again and to refinance debt.
