San Francisco Group's story

The San Francisco group is in its 8th cycle of its women's committee program, where the members help one another and set a goal to grow - not only financially, but also as people. All of the women are friends and neighbors who work together towards a common purpose and want to achieve their goals via mutual aid.

One of the members, Selma, owns a hairdressing salon. Thanks to her sacrifice and hard work, she has been able to expand her business and now has an established clientele. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Selma's salon has been detrimentally impacted and sales have decreased drastically to the point where she can no longer fulfill all of her financial obligations.

Selma is an enterprising person whose efforts have allowed her to keep moving forward and find a way to keep her business afloat. She is requesting a loan to be able to invest in new products for her salon (i.e., shampoos, rinses, coloring, creams, and other hair care products) and is thankful for the opportunity to continue improving her business.

In this group: Daniela, Blanca, Marina, Estela, María, Celia, Marcia, María, Gladys, Luz, Roquelina, Griselda, Ramona, Rossana, Selma, Narcisa, Gabriela, Angelina, Gilda, Blanca, Fany, Tomasa, Cinthya, Ramona, Isabel, Rosa, Celia, Elida, Romia, María
