A loan helped a member to buy fertilizer, seeds and other products to continue with her work growing vegetables.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This committee is called "Mujeres Unidas". Their established goal is to be able to grow, not only financially but also as people to be able to continue giving their families a better future. They are also part of the elimination of poverty program.
One of the members of the group is Adela, who works selling vegetables that she grows. She comments that with effort and sacrifice she works everyday from early in the morning to start her work.
She comments that although her work requires a lot of sacrifice, she does it to be able to help her family and give them a dignified life without lacking necessities as she did. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring together the group and invest in her work which will be a great help.
She is requesting this loan to be able to buy fertilizer, seeds and other products to continue with her work as she has been doing.
Note: There is only one person in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the need to avoid gathering because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
