A loan of $2,925 helps a member to buy meat, seasonings, skewers, and other products.

San Francisco Group's story

The San Francisco group is in its seventh cycle of the women's committee, in which each member has their business where they work in order to procure greater income and get their family ahead in life through sacrifice and dedication.

One of the members of the group is Maria, who is also the president. She is a person who is devoted to her family and, through daily struggle and effort, earns a living. Her business is modest -- she sells kebabs -- and she says that, because of the pandemic, she has lost some of her income. However, in spite of this, she has not let it defeat her and always puts everything she has into recovering the business.

She is requesting this loan to invest in her business in order to strengthen it. She wants to buy ingredients to make kebabs, such as meat, seasonings, and skewers.

Note: In the photo, only one person appears, but this loan is for a group. A group photo was not possible because of the need for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
