Hasifa N. is married with three children. She has been selling fish in Kayunga central market for the last four years. She started taking out loans three years back from Feed The children Uganda 's community banking program. She has been servicing her current US$400 loan well. She is a very hardworking and enterprising lady.

She recently traveled to Busia on the borderof Kenya and Uganda and noticed that the demand for fish was higher there than in Kayunga. After her visit, she made a test and surprisingly found that she had sold all that she had taken there with her. To-date she runs two stalls in Kayunga and Busia. However, her funds are limited and don't allow her to stock enough for her customers, hence she is requesting a loan from Kiva.
