A loan of $3,800 helped a member purchase inventory for their businesses.

Mariscal Caceres Group's story

The Mariscal Caceres village bank is located in the Andres Avelino Caceres zone in the Ate district of Lima, Peru, and is composed of 14 members who have worked with EDAPROSPO for the past 8 years. The group members work in various fields including production, sales and services.

Eulogia, the current president, is 45 years old and lives with her partner with whom she has 2 children who are 19 and 17 years old. She sells juices near a bus stop in Ate and has done so for 10 years; she also sells beauty products from a catalogue. Through Eulogia's efforts, she has supported her children's education and almost all her money goes to pay those expenses for her children. Her dream is to have her own juice stand. This loan will be used to buy inventory for the group members' businesses.

All the members are grateful for the support they are receiving and are committed to making their payments on the scheduled dates.
