A loan helped to buy fruits and vegetables to sell.

Otto Gabriel's story

Otto used a previous Kiva loan to buy clothes, footwear, and toys to sell at the main fairs in the country’s provinces. He now works with his wife and one of his children to help him with customer service. Due to the current crisis in the country, he wants to have a second income source selling fruits and vegetables.

He asked for a Kiva loan with MiCrédito to buy fruits and vegetables to sell and generate more income for his house. This way he can offer his current customers another type of product. He is 52 and considers himself an enterprising person with an empowered mind. His dreams are to be able to open a clothes store and a separate fruit and vegetables store in his neighborhood.
