Tranquilino's story

Tranquilino is 66 years old and lives in the neighbourhood of San Antonio with his partner, Isabel Olmedo, where they have run a well stocked grocery store for more than 20 years.

Tranquilino started this business when they first moved to the area that is now their community, since there was no other grocery store close to their neighbourhood at that time.

Thanks to the loans that they obtained through Fundación Paraguaya, bit by bit their business began to grow, and today their grocery store is like a mini-market due to the good quality of their merchandise.

The loan that Tranquilino is applying for now will be used to purchase merchandise such as flour, rice, pasta, sugar and beverages, since Holy Week is coming and this is the time when they usually sell the most products.
