Rumba is a married man with five boys, four of whom attend school. He is a tailor and wants to purchase materials and a sewing machine with the KES 40,000 loan. He has been in the business for eight years and was previously a preacher. He has a shop, and his customers are mainly women. The greatest challenge to his business is getting pictures of dress designs from the internet and the cost of expansion. He aspires to work together with other tailors. Rumba rents his home and has electricity but no piped water.
