A loan of $5,100 helps a member to buy a variety of jewelry for sale.

San Judas Tadeo Group's story

A group called San Judas Tadeo is in their 4th loan cycle of the women's development program. All the members work and help each other in order to get ahead. They are going through an inquiry aimed at the elimination of poverty through recognizing their life situation and working hard to improve it.

One of the group's members is Wilma. She sells jewelry of all types, for cash or on credit. Wilma says that she already has customers who always go to her and place orders.

With this job she helps to support her family. She says that even though her income is modest, it helps her family and she wants to keep doing it. For this reason she is always looking for ways to improve her skills.

Wilma is asking for this loan so that she can buy a variety of jewelry for sale. In this way she will be able to continue with the job and supporting her family.

Note: The children in the photo are daughters of members of the group that is asking for this loan.
