La Dalia De Las Cruces Group's story

Meyling is the coordinator of the group "La Dalia de las cruces" which has Edelma and Víctor as two other members.

Meyling owns a grocery store. She is an honest and hard-working person. She is 30 years old and says that when she was younger she went to her country's capital in order to save money for starting her business.

There are few grocery stores in the community she lives now. She started with small number of products, such as oil, rice, beans, sugar - the basics that people need for cooking at home.

Meyling says that thanks to the previous loan, facilitated by Fundenuse and Kiva, she was able to stock up her grocery store up to the point when she started selling vegetables. She gained new customers and for this reason she wants to continue working with Fundenuse and Kiva, and grow her business.

Meyling is asking for another loan from Fundenuse and Kiva to buy products she sells in her business (rice, sugar, coffee, beans, break, vegetables, oil and other).

In this group: Meyling , Victor , Edelma

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Ondrej Slaby.

This loan is special because:

It helps promote financial inclusion in Nicaragua's rural northwest.
