A loan helped to buy groceries for her canteen.

Namaua's story

Namaua is 39 years old. She is a mother of two children, and the wife of a farmer. They live in an old wooden house of their own. Namaua runs a business of a canteen, where she makes light foods such as samosas and rots, together with soft drink, and sells it out at their primary school. She is self-employed together with the help of her husband. Her canteen runs every school days, and during holidays, she delivers her canteen to some of the retail store in their village. Her business is her family's daily source of income. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy groceries for her canteen, because her financial security was affected by the lock-down and she use the money from her business to make a shopping for her family.
