A loan helped to purchase nail polish, oil, sugar and rice.

Maria Cristina's story

María is 46 years old. Twenty-five years ago, she started a small grocery store which she has been carrying on with up to this moment. From the time she started her business up until now, María she has had the full support of her family.

She is a very hard-working merchant. She has tremendous strength, is optimistic and persevering, and above all, has a desire to give her children a better life.

María is currently very happy that her business is going well, so much so that she has knocked on the doors of Kiva together with MiCrédito to purchase nail polish, oil, sugar and rice. María is thinking of turning her grocery store into a variety store in the near future.
