Por Un Mundo Mejor Group's story

This group, named Por un Mundo Mejor (For a Better World), was started in the indigenous community of Roba Qom de San Francisco - Cerrito. The members look for ways to invest in their work and to provide daily sustenance to their households.

Luis mainly works in handcrafts as it is his family's main source of income. He used to make his living farming but he quit that work because of health problems.

He wants to reforest the area where he has lived for more than 48 years to help by contributing his grain of sand to the global need to improve the environment in the face of the huge wave of global degradation.

Luis is requesting a loan to buy eucalyptus seeds to be able to reforest 4.5 hectares (11 acres) of his community.
