A loan helped a member to buy some sheep and resell them with a profit for his children.

Yeredeme Group's story

The man sitting next to the sheep is Bacoro. He is 57 years old and lives in Mali. He buys sheep, raises them, and resells them. He buys and sells them at the same weekly markets. Thanks to this activity he is able to provide for his family. He started this activity about 10 years ago.

It has been financially difficult to grow his business and so he has been taking loans to increase his livestock. Bacoro needs to find a mode of transportation for his children so they can attend university.
