A loan of $725 helped buy merchandise such as watches, camaras, etc.

Maura's story

Maura is 48 years old, has four children and lives in the city of Urubamba. Her main business activity is selling watches, radios, cell phones and digital camaras. She has a stand in the Urubamba market. She supplements this activity by selling tools in the Saturday "baratillo" market in Cusco. She tells us that every Saturday she takes her products to Cusco to sell.

Maura belongs to the "SAYHUA" communal bank, part of the Asociaicón Araiwa, and has participated in the bank for the past 4 years. She currently needs a loan to buy merchandise, such as watches, camaras, etc.

Maura is a hard-working and enterprising woman who is always looking for opportunities to get ahead and with her daily efforts is helping her children to study. Her dream is to buy a house in Urubamba.

Maura is grateful for the opportunity she has and is committed to meeting her repayment schedule.
