A loan helped a member to purchase the ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Mps Group's story

Emmanuel is a 40-year-old man who lives in a 2-bedroom house with access to electricity, with 4 other family members, including 3 dependents. Emmanuel works as a teacher but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. He spends a total of UGX 70,000 on all of his fuel and electricity expenses.

Emmanuel and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cook-stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
