Benkadi Group's story

Minata, 42, is married and has four children. Her business is selling animals, and she is brave and very respected at the heart of her community. She is in the right of the photo, wearing a white headscarf and holding the sheep's leash. Her husband is a farmer and rears cattle. The profit allowed him to improved the quality of food his family ate and take care of the children. She has five years' experience in running a small shop and rearing sheep. With the RMCR loan, Minata will buy two sheep and keep her shop running. After turning over a profit, she will be able to buy clothes and shoes for herself and her children. Minata is grateful to the organisation for its support and hopes to develop her business rearing livestock and running her shop in order to improve her family's living conditions, particularly for her four children.
