Moussa's story

Mr Moussa Sangaré is a polygamous married man and 43 years old. He lives in a large traditional family in the village of N'Tjinina in the prefecture of Kolondièba (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

Moussa is a cattle trader with a 2-year-long experience. In order to boost his working capital, he joined the loan program of Soro Yiriwaso. This is his first individual loan. He will buy a few oxen in the prefecture of Kolondièba and travel to Nièna and Koumantou to sell them for cash and less often for credit to resellers and butchers.

Moussa expects to make a monthly profit of 50,000 CFA francs, which he will reinvest in his business. His future ambition is to sell his animals in the adjacent countries, such as Côte d'Ivoire, and earn a much higher profit.
