Yaa B. is happily married and lives with her three children. She has received no formal education. Yaa buys onions in bags and sells them in both small and large quantities to her customers at Abura. Her husband is a teacher.
Yaa uses the income she generates from her sales to help her husband in the general up-keep of the home. Yaa will use the loan to purchase onions for resale as well as yams and maize which is going to serve as an additional trade to invest in. With the new income that is going to come as a result of the loan received, Yaa plans to reinvest into her business.
