A loan helped to buy inventory.

Ana Elizabeth's story

Ana is a hardworking woman who is 31 years old and lives in Esmeraldas with her mother in a house that they built through hard work and dedication. She owns a neighborhood shop which provides her with the income needed to cover her personal and household expenses.

Ana has been running her shop for ten years and business has been doing very well. Her shop is known throughout the neighborhood and she has several regular customers. Ana now requires a loan to buy inventory and increase her stocks. This in turn will generate more income and improve her quality of life. She is grateful to KIVA for this opportunity and is happy that with KIVA's support she can continue assisting her mother and moving forward.
