A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a motorbike for commuting to work.

Bo's story

Bo S., 26, is married and resides with her husband and child in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for clay and ceramic products. She sells porridge and Chinese noodles for an income of about USD 2.3 per day, while her husband, a construction foreman, earns an income of USD 3.3 per day to help cover the family expenses. Bo is now requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to commute to work. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits earned to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia. Bo is pictured with her husband here.
