A loan helped to buy different kinds of goods, such as clothes, to start her home based retail business.

Nayfa's story

Nayfa, a Jordanian 40-year-old woman, is married and is a mother to four children. Her husband is an employee. As the salary her husband makes is not enough to cover the family's basic needs, Nayfa decided to take part and help her husband.

She wants to start a retail business where she sells different kinds of goods, such as clothes, but she lacks the financial ability to do so, so she decided to ask for a 2,000 JOD loan to buy the needed goods, hoping that she will be able to help and support her family to increase their income and live a good decent life.

She dreams of succeeding in her business and to have an independent shop in the future.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
