Naile's story

The lady in the photo is Allahverediyeva Naile. She is a refugee from the Azerbaijan- Armenian conflict in the Gubadli region, which is situated in the western part of Azerbaijan. Right now she lives in the city of Sumqayit. She is 50 years old and the mother of 4 children. She is a business woman. She sells women's shoes in the market.

In 2004, Naile borrowed $300 from Normicro and expanded her business by buying more shoes. The next time, she borrowed $600 and repaired her business premises which increased the number of clients and her income. She buys her inventory from the Baku Airport wholesale market, making purchasing trips three times a month.

Currently, she needs a $1000 loan. With this loan Naile will to expand her business premises and buy modern styles of men and women's shoes. She believes that this change will increase her monthly income help her provide for necessary family consumption needs.
Naile thinks this expansion will improve the living conditions of her family. She will repay the loan within 14 months. Naile will repay her loan on a monthly basis.
