A loan helped to buy stocks of goods for sale.

Josephine's story

Josephine lives in Tafo, a community in Kumasi, with her husband and four children. All four of their children are in school.

For the past nine years Josephine has run a shop that sells basic necessities for her community and she employs one other person. As the community grows, she wants her shop to grow too, and attract new clients. Josephine feels that by growing her business, she will be able to make sure her children get a very good education and also go to college.

Josephine will use the loan to buy more stock and inventory, and then ask her current clients to recommend her shop to friends. She is confident that since this is her second loan with Advans Ghana, she will repay her loan on time and in full just like the first one. She hopes that Kiva lenders will put their trust in her!
