Jamadjigui Group's story

A married woman, Hatouma raises livestock. She is literate, 57 years old, and lives in a rural commune in Mali with her four children, one of whom goes to school. They are aged from 13 to 25 years old. Hatouma is ambitious for her children's well-being, with sufficient food and improvement of their education. Before, she had trouble with her sheep raising business. With the financial support of RMCR she is growing her business. Hatouma makes her purchases at the local market and her sales at the weekly fair, for cash. With 10 000f provisional monthly profit, she sees that this business is profitable. She has been in this business for three years, and animal epidemics are difficult for her given the absence of a veterinarian service.
