A loan helped a member to buy animals to resell so she can take care of her family.

Benkadi Group's story

Djenbou is from Mali, is 45 years old and has 6 children who all go to school. Because she can read, Djenbou has been raising animals for 9 years. Her husband helps her to take care of the animals. With the aim of setting up a business that will bring in income, she has turned to RMCR for a loan so she can develop her business and make it her main source of income.

On the photo, she's the woman who is holding the rope with the cow. The loan that she will get from RMCR will be used to buy cows so that she can resell them according to the loan cycle. She gets what she needs in the village and local villages and resells in the local market. After the sale, she could have 50,000CFA minimum in profit from each loan cycle. The profit that she makes from the sale of cows enables her to take care of health, educations and clothes for her children. She confirms that she has no problem with RMCR.

Djenbou hopes to have more loans to increase her business while also showing her children how to do this work and also wants to satisfy her family's needs.
