A loan helped to buy a horse in order to increase her headcount of livestock.

Kiibatkan's story

Kiibatkan successfully repaid her loan. She is grateful to Kiva and everyone who helped in her financing. Her farm currently has 2 cows, 15 sheep, and a horse.

In order to further develop her farm, she again applied to Bai-Tushum Bank for a loan of 70,000 KGS to purchase a horse so that she can increase her headcount of livestock. The income from the loan will help Kiibatkan improve her family’s living conditions.

Translated from Russian by Kiva volunteer Claire Davis.

This loan is special because:

The borrower receives a lower interest rate to fund their agriculture activities.
