Noy's story

Noy N., 51, is married and resides with her husband and six children in Sa ang District, Cambodia, an area known for sugarcane plantations. She is a housewife. Her husband carves wood into sculptures for sale, earning an income of USD 10 per day to help cover the family'S expenses. N. is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase more wood for her husband, to expand his business. In the future, she would like to use aN. additional profit to send the children to a good school.
