Ahunbaeva's Group's story

Marhila is a leader of this group. She is 41 years old and sells milk and ayran (a yogurt drink) in retail. She buys the milk from the village population and resells in the town of Osh, and also makes ayran from the milk to resell it. Her husband is a construction worker. They have two children. She will use the loan to buy a milk cow for selling of milk and milk products.

Gulmira is 28, she is married. Her husband is working in Russia. She has three children. Her oldest daughter goes to school and the rest of the children stay at home. She used the money which her husband sent from Russia to buy a cow and after feeding it she sold it and bought a milk cow and began to sell milk. She plans to use the loan to buy another milk cow to increase the milk sales.

Oktamhon is 37, she is married. Her husband makes furniture and earns around $150US a month. She bakes and sells flat breads. Every day she makes 75 flat breads from one bag of flour and sells them in the town of Osh for 10 soms each. She plans to use the loan to buy a milk cow.

Chinara is 37, she is married. She has four children. Her son is fifteen and her daughters are fourteen, twelve and eleven. Her sons works for hire and her daughters go to school. Chinara receives an allowance of $15US a month. At this time she also works for hire, she sows potatoes. She will use the loan to build a gate.
