A loan of $4,800 helps a member to buy wholesale pagnes to strengthen her capital.

Zawadi Group's story

Mme Leontine is a client of the MFI Hekima and is the president of the banc villageois Zawadi. She is 40 years old, divorced, and has six children who go to school. She sells pagnes (traditional cloth wraps). She started her business in 1998 with some start-up money from her late husband. She later joined Hekima to get some support and her business has progressed.

She will use this new loan to buy wholesale pagnes, which will strengthen her capital. Shortage of products is the challenge of her business. She would like to complete the construction of her house. She wants to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they bring to non-bankable business owners.
