A loan helped a member to buy starch, cheese, eggs, lard, salt and other products.

San Jose Group's story

The members are women who have a drive to work very consistently to improve their families’ living conditions. They joined the group in an effort to be constant in their daily activities and be able to feel proud of the goals achieved through perseverance.

Sonia is a member of the group and she makes and sells chipas, a typical Paraguayan food. Every day she starts her work early which is when she prepares the products she later sells. She says she wants to continue improving so she decided to join the group with the aim of improving her quality of life and that of her loved ones.

She is applying for a loan to buy supplies to make chipas such as starch, cheese, eggs, lard, salt and other products to continue growing and improving.
