A loan of $350 helped purchase merchandise to sell for Mother's Day.

Edith's story

Edith is 33 years old and shares her life with her husband Fernando (age 40) and her son Daniel (age 13). They are a close family and live in their own home. Edith sells seasonal products, which means she sells a variety of merchandise based on what the market has to offer. For example, during the patron saint festivals, she sells “turrones” (nougat candy) from Lima, decorations, and clothing. At the moment, she is selling musical CDs. Being a creative woman, she always finds the right products that will make her customers happy and is able to achieve good sales. Her earnings are good as a result of great dedication to her work. Almost every day she offers her products to her customers and collects payments. This explains why she has succeeded in her business and, in the future, she wants to sell merchandise in bulk.

Edith is requesting her sixth loan from MFP and promises to be punctual with her payments. The loan she requested will be invested in the purchase of merchandise for the next holiday, which is Mother’s Day. She plans to buy decorations and gifts in hopes of generating good sales.
