Mujeres Emprendedoras Con Esperanza Group's story

The “Mujeres Emprendedoras con Esperanza” (Enterprising Women with Hope) Committee is from the San Carlos neighborhood and was formed more than three years ago. As each loan cycle ends, the women of the Committee want to continue working on their projects. The group is currently in its fourteenth loan cycle with the program. One of the members is Sra. Miguela R. who sells fruits and vegetables at the Luque Market where she has a vending stall. Sra. Miguela’s work requires a great deal of sacrifice because she has to wake up early in order to arrive at her vending stall and begin selling her products. She is requesting a loan to buy fruits and vegetables (oranges, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, apples, and other products).

In this group: Miguela, Edith, Mirtha, Elsa, Lariza, Katherine, Hilaria, Nidia, Mercedes, Norma, Francisca, Claudia, Blanca
