A loan of $2,875 helped a member purchase of many types of fabrics, buttons, linings, and clasps.

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

This group was formed by three members who were in another group but decided to form a new one because they lived far away from the other group's meeting place. Thus began the María Auxiliadora group of María Auxiliadora - Isla Valle in the city of Luque.

Now the group is in the third cycle of the Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras de la Fundación Paraguaya's program. It is made up of 22 members who all invest in different activities.

Higinia Céspedes is a seamstress. She has been a seamstress since she was very young. She makes clothes of all types, for example suits for women, pants, uniforms, wedding gowns, etc.

She is requesting this loan to invest in buying materials like fabrics and thread to use in making clothes.

In this group: Higinia, Barbara, Dolores, Susana, Maria, Margarita, Nicolasa, Liz Maria, Elvira, Raimunda, Evangelista, Mariana, María De Jesús, Gloria, Norma, Isabel, Lorena, Pabla*, Rosa, Celia, Liliana*, Simona*
