Champika is a 26-year-old married woman living with her husband and son in the town of Telijjawila in the Matara area of Sri Lanka. She is a hard working woman. Her husband cultivates crops and Champika provides support to her husband in this business. They are very close and work well together.
Additionally, Champika sells clothes as a second business, something she has been doing for a long time. She manages this business alongside helping with the crop cultivation.
Champika has requested a 60,000 LKR loan from BRAC Sri Lanka to help her and her husband's crop cultivation business. They plan to use the loan to help purchase agricultural equipment. She is grateful to BRAC Sri Lanka because of the financial support it provides to her.
