Lun L., 60, is married and resides with his wife and four children in Battambong Province, Cambodia, an area known for its good quality rice products. He is a farmer who grows vegetables and rice for an income of about USD 3 per day. His wife is a farmer, too, earning an income of USD 3 per day to help cover the family's expenses.
L. is requesting a loan of USD 700 to purchase a motorbike to transport his agricultural products to sell at the market. In the future, he would like to use any additional profit to expand his current business. This is his first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc., is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia.
