A loan helped a member to purchase rice, noodles, and oil in bulk.

Machaj Markaj Layku Group's story

The Machaj Markaj Layku communal bank, as part of the Agencial Alto Lima, is made up of eight members and is led by officers, of whom Verónica is the president.

Verónica, 21 years old, is married and has a child. She has a business selling food and, with the loan, will purchase rice, noodles, and oil in bulk, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. After making it, she will sell it at her sales point.

This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. Her aspiration is to expand her business. Verónica asks that you be able to trust in her communal bank again.
