Vy's story

Vy is a 59-year-old married woman and a mother of two children. She currently lives with her family and two unmarried children in a remote area of Baray district in Kampong Thom province. Vy has been engaged in a rice-farming business and growing vegetables at home. Through her hardships and perseverance, she is able to earn a suitable income of 20,000 Cambodian riels (KHR) per day, which she normally uses for food and other costs of living.

Vy is currently requesting a loan to buy a piece of land for farming so that she can increase production and income for her family. Her business plan is to continue developing her agriculture business and to make a stable income to meet her children’s needs. With this loan support, she will have enough money to buy land to increase rice crops and save some money.

In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and push her children to continue studying at university. She is very thankful to all lenders in advance.
